These six SEL mini lessons teach Middle and High School students how the choices they make influence how they feel, both physically and emotionally. They learn if they want to change how they are feeling, they can choose to think and/or act in different ways. Specific skills help students learn how to change their thoughts and actions to improve negative feelings. Choice Theory/Reality Therapy principles, along with CBT strategies, are key components of the lessons.
